The transformer loading service runs an IEEE C57.91 hottest-spot temperature and thermal-loading check for pole-mounted distribution transformers. One of five standalone cross-utility analyzers, callable directly today, not yet on the conversational agent’s tool catalog.
Endpoints
POST /thermal
IEEE C57.91 hottest-spot temperature calculation from nameplate rating, ambient temperature, and loading profile.
POST /check
Pass/fail thermal-loading check against the transformer’s rated limits.
Why this exists
Pole-mounted transformer thermal loading is a common gap in utility construction-standards coverage — most standards cite a kVA nameplate limit without the underlying IEEE C57.91 hottest-spot math. Centralizing the calculation means every review applies the same thermal model instead of a flat nameplate cutoff.
